The game of Basketball is, and traditionally has been a strong team sport played in our country regions. There are opportunities to play for fun or at the representative level at most major regional towns. We are proud to say that we have over 70 associations located across NSW Country.

BNSW have a Country committee that is responsible for the development of & growth of our country regions, and throughout the year, our Country committee hold and host a number of events; from Jamborees- which introduce kids to basketball skills camps, competitions, and games through to the ACJBC (Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup), which is the pathway for Country’s elite basketballers to be selected to represent Country NSW at the National Championships. It’s a great opportunity to meet & be involved in your local community through the love of basketball!
